SUPER MARKET - Market News for July 31, 2019



Come one, come all to the BIGGEST Market of the Season this Wednesday July 31 from 4 - 6:30 PM!




Lots of vendors will be bringing the best of the summer produce and selected products. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to grab goodies from all your favorite vendors! The rain has NEVER stopped us from having a successful Super MARKET!

Below is just a sampling of what our wonderful vendors will have this week:


Gilded Fern Farm – Delicious yogurt, Edelweiss, Manchego and blue cheese plus plain and flavored quark.


Lewis Farm – A special guest this week offering two amazing freshly prepared meal options: grilled flatbread pesto pizza with mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, roasted squash, peppers, caramelized onions as well as kale & toasted almond shaved salad with honey & white balsamic vinaigrette, purslane, breakfast radish, wild clover flowers and crumbled queso fresco, with optional marinated chicken breast. Yummy!. Stop by and check them out!


Lofty View Farm – Fresh cut flowers, homemade baked goods and pies, goats milk, feta and ice cold locally crafted beverages.


Marsh Meadow Bison – Bison kabobs and burgers for summer grilling plus steaks, short ribs and sausages. If you haven’t tried bison, grab some delicious bison products from this Canterbury farm.


Meadows Pond Soaps – Many varieties of soaps including jewelweed, shaving, pine tar, lavender, calendula, gardener, patchouli and activated charcoal. Dog and people shampoos, bug repellent plus reasonably priced soy candles and CBD balms.


North Family Farm – A limited edition bourbon barrel aged maple syrup will be available. Be sure to grab some of this special syrup! Maple syrup, candies, cream and sugar plus colorful potholders and beautiful fresh picked flower bouquets.


Our Place Farm – Fresh black raspberry jam!


Sanborn Meadow Farm – The first batch of green beans are here! Greens including tatsoi, arugula, lettuce, chard, kale and collards. Summer squash, carrots and onions. Tomatoes are coming soon!


24 Karrot Baking – Carrot and chocolate cupcakes and a large selection of keto desserts and cake bites.


***Be sure to wander aaaaall the way to the back of the Market, on the grassy area behind the library—many fine vendors are back there in the shade!***




Live music this week provided by Mark Hopkins and Friends! They are guaranteed to have your toes tapping! The rain never stops these guys!!
