Bountiful Baskets Week!

It’s the Canterbury Community Farmers Market’s last outdoor market of 2019 this Wednesday, October 2nd from 4:30-6 PM! Bring a friend or two to the Market and fill your bags and baskets with all things to keep you well fed in the coming cooler weather. Be sure to take advantage of our last Sandwich Slam of the season! Suggested donation $5, with all proceeds to benefit Mary Ellen’s Basket.


Vendors News


Below is just a tiny sampling of what our hard-working vendors have to offer this week. Check to see what ready-to-eat goodness is available this week! There is no reason to be hungry at the Market!!

Blakeney’s Bakery – Blakeney’s will supply basic, wheat and rye bread for our Sandwich Slam. They will have their usual assortment of boules, batards, scones and other yummy baked goodies.

Brookford Farm – Aged salami, krauts, organic vegetables, and 100% grass fed dairy. Try some of their products at the Sandwich Slam.

Marsh Meadow Bison – Their most delicious bison cuts available this week: tenderloin steaks, chuck roasts and burgers for your fall cookouts.

Our Place Farm – A last outdoor market special on all braided rugs – 40% off! If you’ve been thinking about buying one, now is the time! Pork and all manner of canned goods for your winter pantry.

Sanborn Meadow Farm – Greens, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, onions, shallots and fresh cut herbs. Try some of the greens at the Sandwich Slam.

Warner River Produce – Jim will have a wide selection of vegetables plus sweet potatoes and Honeycrisp, Cortland and Macoun apples. The last of the Stanley plums too! Look for his produce at the Sandwich Slam.

24 Karrot Baking - Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and Armenian sweet bread - plain and cinnamon sugar.


***Be sure to wander aaaaall the way to the back of the Market, on the grassy area behind the library—many fine vendors are back there in the shade!***
