Canterbury Farmers Market Summary

The Canterbury Farmers Market has been running every summer since 2006 in the Heart of Canterbury. Each year from June to September, we gather every Wednesday from 4-6:30 PM with a mix of locally grown and produced vegetables, meats, prepared foods, and other value-added agricultural products and selected crafts. We also have talented musicians for lively entertainment each week. In preparation for the holiday season, we host two winter markets in November and December at the Canterbury Elementary School with even more vendors to shop from first!

To reinforce our commitment to the community, we work with the Loudon Food Pantry assisting local families with access to fresh produce and meats. The drive and soul of the market are to promote community education focused on the importance of supporting local farms and eating good food.

The market takes place next to the Elkins Public Library where all are welcomed to gather, connect, and share a love of locally sourced products.

After all, it takes a community to feed a community!
